Lost Trail Powder Mountain is pleased to announce that opening day for the 2010/11 winter season will be Thursday, Dec. 2.
The Mountain will begin open for the season at 9:30 a.m. Thursday with Chairs 1 & 2 (Chair 5 is slated to open on Saturday).
Plenty of November snow has piled up at the Trail, so expect better-than average opening conditions and more lifts and trails opening soon! Be aware however that early-season conditions still exist in some areas. Keep checking LostTrail.com for more opening day updates!
In the mean time, get your boards waxed, think about taking the season’s first Powder Thursday off of work and keep doing those snow dances!
Sorry to disappoint you and your wife, however with the frigid weather and the fact some of our employees are finishing up other jobs (outfitters) we decided to give our employees one last family holiday for the season and let the powder pile up just a little bit more. Dear Bummed: Not sure if Will responded to you, but this is Judy, one of the owners. Thanks for your comment. Without employees we would not have a business. Plus some of them are still finishing up jobs they had before we open. In the mean time it’s great to let the snow get deeper so Powder Thursday will be awesome!
