9:20 a.m., Friday, Dec. 31- Good Morning, skiers and boarders! The storm clouds have cleared and it is a 100 percent bluebird day out there. Still lots of fresh, ultralight, champagne pow-pow left … come on up and claim your turns! Make sure to dress warm, though … It’s currently -8 degrees at the lodge!
9:40 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 30 – We’ve had 14″ of snow fall overnight on top of at least 6″ that fell during the day yesterday. Reports are that it is some the blowerest snow to grace our slopes in a while. Get up here and check it out!
9:15 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 29 – We are smack dab in the middle of a large winter storm that has dropped 16″ of fresh snow on the ski hill in the last 24 hours and is expected to continue through Thursday. Conditions are as good as they’ve been in the last two years and promise to get better and better as the snow continues to fall. All chair lifts will be open today and the tracks are filling in soon after being made. Get up here and check it out!
The Lost Trail Snow Sports School still has openings available on the Lost Trail Slopestyle Team, part of our All Mountain Program.
Open to skiers and boarders, this freestyle program is designed to help riders refine their skills on both our mountain’s natural and terrain park features. Team members will also get a chance to showcase their skills at the Safety First Slopestyle Event at Lost Trail on Feb. 19.

It’s the holidays, skiers, and that means one thing … We’re open EVERY DAY! From Thursday, Dec. 23, through Sunday, Jan. 2, Lost Trail Powder Mountain will be spinning the lifts every day to give you and your family as much time on the snow as possible! And speaking of snow, we’ve got plenty with some of the best holiday conditions we’ve had in years. So, come on up to Montana’s Greatest Snow Place to join in the fun! Oh, and make sure to wear that nice, new sweater Aunt Mabel gave you for Christmas …

Dec. 11, 2010 – The LTPark Crew takes a snowy Saturday morning excursion into the depths of Hollywood Bowl at Lost Trail Ski Area in Western Montana. Powder shots, cliff drops … your basic “conditions testing.”

Howdy, Skiers! It’s been quiet up here so far this week … Lots of fresh snow and uncrowded slopes.
With a total of about 10 inches falling since Wednesday night, the conditions have been out of this world. Face shots on every run and little sneak peeks at a bluebird sky behind the storm clouds have made for great laps.
More snow is expected to fall tonight but there are still plenty of fresh turns out there for the taking! We’ll be open Saturday and Sunday with Chairs 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 all open! That’s right … the entire mountain should be open by mid-day tomorrow! WhooHoo … Lets do some skiing!

With 6-12 inches of new snow on the slopes, Lost Trail opened with blue skies and mild temperatures on Friday, much to the delight of those who made the trip up the pass.
The beautiful weather held throughout the day, making for some wonderful afternoon laps along Moose Creek and Salmon Trees in the last dwindling blades of sunlight. Check out the Photos of the Day for a taste!
We’ll be open this weekend with plenty of great snow still out there for your enjoyment … Come on up and check out the great conditions!
